We no longer thought of seeing again before September: the French Sébastien Ogier, luxury freelancer at Toyota this season in the WRC world championship, will finally participate in the Finland rally, 9th round (out of 14) of the championship disputed from July 31 to August 3, he announced on Wednesday.

The 41 -year -old Gapençais currently occupies second place in the world championship, only nine points behind his teammate Elfyn Evans, and already has three victories (and two second places) this season in five participations.
He will compete in the rally as part of the partial program he concluded with the Japanese manufacturer. The Frenchman has been carrying out some WRC rallies since 2022 but no full season.
