Nobbaded to Skellefteå: DIF’s Forward Transfer

Djurgården broke the contract with Max Krogdahl.

Now the Norwegian national team back is ready for Skellefteå AIK.

During last year’s season, Max Krogdahl extended his contract with Djurgården, but after the club took the step up in SHL, the parties went separate roads.

Now the career in Skellefteå AIK continues.

– Skellefteå AIK attracted because it is a successful and serious club. I felt the desired right away, so it felt very good in the conversations, says Krogdahl.

The contract is over a season.

– It feels good to have made it clear with Max, which last comes from a strong World Cup. Max is a stable back that is strong in the duel game. He will give energy to our group and broaden our team building in a good way, says Skellefteå’s sports manager Erik Forssell.

Krogdahl about the season in Djurgården:

– It was an educational and fun season. Being winning the Hockey Allsvenskan and taking the step up with Djurgården was great. In addition, I also bring everything I learned from guys like Patrick Thoresen and other experienced players with NHL merits and long experience as a professional. It was valuable. I am ready to bring these lessons to Skellefteå AIK.

He also says:

-It will be incredibly fun to put on the Skellefteå shirt and play in front of the incredible fans here. It is a real hockey environment and it feels inspiring to be part of it.
