Neymar’s Successor: 17-Year-Old Rising Star

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court of Brazil issued a 17 -year prison sentence for a man after he was convicted of soccer theft, bearing the signature of the star Neymar Junior from the Congress building during riots, which was fabricated by the supporters of Jayer Bolsonaro, former president, January 8, 2023.
Nelson Ribeiro Fonseca, 43, was accused of theft, in addition to the coup attempt, belonging to an armed criminal gang, and inciting violence.
A large majority voted “four out of five judges” in the first room of the Supreme Court in favor of his conviction, on Tuesday.
Judge Alexander de Moraish said: The defendants were active in storming, and looting the headquarters of the authority in the Brazilian capital.
Judge Moraish also claimed that the man confessed to stealing the ball, which was described as “a unique origin, formed part of the general heritage of Brazil.”
Meanwhile, Fonsika’s lawyers claimed that the ball was found in the Congress Hall during the riots, so he took it to protect it, and then delivered it 20 days after the police.
The ball, which Neymar signed, was donated to the House of Representatives in 2012 by Santos, the club for which the Brazilian star played at the beginning of his professional career before returning to his ranks last January.
