NBA Party: Zhejiang BA Hangzhou United Team & Slam Dunk Contest

On July 4, the 2025 Zhejiang Urban Basketball League (referred to as “Zhejiang BA”) meeting was held in Hangzhou Basketball Park. Li Lingwei, executive member of the International Olympic Committee and vice chairman of the China Olympic Committee, praised Zhejiang BA. Olympic champions Wang Shun and Pan Zhanle, world champion Fu Yuanhui, and “basketball female hero” Shi Yitong made a surprise appearance, which detonated the whole audience. Basketball star Zheng Wu and Wu Qian led sports stars and representatives of the city to stage the “Hot-blooded 3V3” basketball game – a national basketball carnival belonging to Zhejiang people, and it’s time to do it!

This Zhejiang BA will be held from July 2025 to February 2026. All 11 prefecture-level cities and 90 districts (counties and cities) in the province will go to battle. The Hangzhou competition area will kick off on July 11. Hangzhou Sports Bureau issued a document to recruit players and called on everyone to sign up to participate in the competition and defend the glory of the city!

The Hangzhou competition area will hold the group stage from July 11 to 22 and the final will be held from July 26 to 27. The final stage is held at the Canal Sports Park Stadium in Gongshu District, and the promotion teams will cross-defend until the championship is decided.

The final champion team and the other district and county (city) players who have signed up for the group stage will be selected to form a municipal gang (Hangzhou City Team) and will be the Hangzhou City Team to participate in the Zhejiang BA City Championship stage.

It is worth mentioning that the interval break time is 5 minutes during the City Championship, and the interval break time is interspersed with bullfighting, three-point competitions, cultural tourism, performing arts, interaction, betting and other aspects.

According to the document issued by the Hangzhou Sports Bureau, as long as Chinese male citizens who have been in the first four ID numbers of 3301 (representing the territory of Hangzhou) or have been in their districts, counties (cities) for 2 years, and have paid social security for more than 2 years in their local governments, enterprises and institutions, they can register (must be over 18 years old).

Athletes who have participated in the National Professional Basketball League, the China College Basketball League One and overseas basketball leagues at all levels are not allowed in this event. The registration time is from now until 12:00 on July 6.
