Napoli are down to the final details for agreements with PSV Eindhoven for Noa Lang and Sam Beukema of Bologna, at a combined cost of circa €60m.
In both situations, the negotiations have been dragging on for a whilebut the desire of the players to join Antonio Conte’s squad ultimately proved decisive.

The turning point for Lang was on June 22, when PSV Eindhoven and his agents were prepared to resume the talks and push through for €30m.

At that time, Inter were the only club heavily linked with the Dutch centre-back, yet Napoli had been working behind the scenes to convince him.
It was a long process, but it looks to finally pay off with an agreement that will be reached at €30m.
