Kwak Yul, a first -year student at Mungyeong Industrial High School (Principal Park Sam -yong), won the fasting championship at the 2025 Sunchang Open International Soft Tennis Competition held in Sunchang from 24 to 30 last month.
More than 120 people from 10 countries, including Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and India, participated in the competition.
The competition from high school students, college students, unemployment teams, and overseas players, including the national team, participated in the finals, defeating Lee Moo -yeon, a member of Daejeon Dong -gu, defeated the set score 4–3.

Kwak Yul, who won one set in the finals, easily gave two or three sets to realize the walls of the unemployment team, but in the fourth set, he led the set score.
However, in the five sets, he struggled with a stroke fight and netplay with his opponent, but he was pushed to a set score 2-3, but he won six sets and continued to win the final game.
In the final set, stroke and sharp services that control the strength and weakness induce the opponent’s mistakes, and the forehand and backhand, which stabbed the left and right corners of the coat, took the opponent’s reverse movement.
