Jalisco Olympiad: 400 Gold Medals Won

Guadalajara, Jal., July 4, 2025.- In just nine days of competition in the National Olympiad, Jalisco went from 300 to 400 gold medals consolidating himself as the leading state of the general medalist thanks to the work, effort and talent of his athletes.

A little more than 20 days after the end of the competition arrived the golden medal 400 for the State in Code Paradero, where Fausto Esparza Martínez won the U2G manonel elimination test.

Among the most productive sports for Jalisco are disciplines such as track cycling, which until the day of Julio 3 added 30 gold medals, and athletics, with 26 golden medals and a new record by exceeding 24 of previous editions.

Names such as Luis Alejandro Rodríguez, Kendra Duany, Emily Estrada, Sofía Peña, Shakti Álvarez, Paola del Real and Elisa Castillo are among the athletics champions.

In sports shooting, Jalisco added 22 golds, with outstanding performances of Hanna Cisneros and Juan Gloria, both multimedallists with three golden medals each.

He also proclaimed national champion in Taekwondo, with 20 golds, and on skates on wheels, with 13 golds. Fengrima signed 14 golds that earned him the national runner -up. In Bádminton, the blue and yellow team has contributed 7 golden medals; 5 of them during the first block of competencies.

The BMX Race modality also joined the golden harvest of Jalisco, to contribute to the leadership of the national medallero in this fair federated.

At the cut of July 2, the athletes also granted Jalisco 236 silver and 252 bronze medals, for a total of 881.

A few days after the National Olympiad Conade 2025, Jalisco will continue to compete in active venues such as Yucatán, Guadalajara and Puebla, with the aim of further increasing their historic medal harvest.

Jalisco reaffirms his commitment to children’s and youth athletes, strengthens his commitment to sport as a public policy and consolidates sports leadership of the entity at the national level.
