The Raptors of Toronto and the Center Jakob Poeltl will extend their association for at least four other seasons according to ESPN.
Poeltl, who had a player option for the 2026-2027 season, decided to immediately exercise this option in addition to adding three seasons to $ 19.5 million per year to his agreement.
In the end, Poeltl will be with the Raptors until the 2029-2030 season.

After careers in career at the level of the minutes played by match (29.6), points per game (14.5) and rebounds (9.6) last season, the Raptors center is one of the only three NBA players to compile more than 60% efficiency on its shots in the last eight seasons alongside Rudy Gobert and Deandre Jordan.
At 29, Poeltl was a first round choice of Raptors in 2016 before ending up with the San Antonio Spurs after two seasons. He returned to Toronto in the 2022-2023 season.
