Caruso gets space

  • Tessa Wullaert

After the break, Italy had few problems to hold the lead.

The Belgian top striker Tessa Wullaert, playing for the Italian Internazionale, could do little. In the first half, the former player of Fortuna Sittard had been dangerous a few times.

Best chance Italy

The best chance was in the final phase for Italy. After a pass by Caruso, substitute Michela Cambiaghi with the left, however. Just before the end of the regular playing time time, Lisa Lichtfus also stopped a deployment of Cambiaghi.

Due to time racks from the Italians, nine minutes of injury time were added, but there was no more goals in it.
