Indonesia U-17: Vietnamese Media React to World Cup Squad

MEDIA Vietnam, Soha VN, was horrified to see the Indonesian U-17 national team squad. According to him, 34 players who were called to the Indonesian National Team Training Center (TC) will create the strongest squad for the U-17 World Cup 2025.

Indonesian U-17 national team coach, Nova Arianto, has indeed called up to 34 names to participate in training camps in Bali. The joint training will take place on July 7 to August 10, 2025.

In the list of players who were called to the Indonesian National Team TC U-17, there were nine new names that attracted attention. They are young Indonesian talents who have a career abroad or abroad.

The nine players are Feike Muller (Willem II Tillburg, the Netherlands), Eizar Jacob (Sydney FC, Australia), Lionel de Troy (Citta de Palermo, Italy), Floris de Pagter (Telstar, the Netherlands), Noha Pohan Simangunsong (Nac Breda), and Jona Gaselink (FC Emmen, Dutch).

Then, there are Azadin Ayout (Elverum SC, Norway), Deston Hoop (Telstar, the Netherlands), and Nicholas Indra Mjosund (Rosenborg SK, Norway). According to Soha VN, these names will make the Garuda Asia squad stronger than before.

“The Indonesian national team calls the strongest squad that has never existed before in preparation for the World Cup finals,” Soha VN wrote in the headline, quoted on Wednesday (2/7/2025).
