Jota had publicly said that Neves was his best friend and the latter, knowing the news of his death, wrote a sense of farewell.
“More than a friendship, we are family, and we will not stop it just because you now decided to sign a contract a little further from us! When I go to the National Team, you will continue by my side at dinner, on the bus, on the plane … You will always be there with me, as usual. Let’s keep laughing, making plans, sharing our lives with each other “, wrote.
