The theme of water was used as the basis of the blue outfit, as a symbolic tribute to the water -rich Amsterdam and the famous youth education. The latter in response to the question of how Ajax succeeds in constantly developing so much talent, where it is sometimes jokingly said that it is ‘in the water of Amsterdam’.
Just like the home shirt, the away shirt is equipped with the classic Ajax logo and a banner in the neck of the shirt with the Amsterdam design year 1275, jubilee year 2025 and the three Amsterdam Andreaskruisen.
