Significant time to participate in parenting and improve family bonds
On June 26, Yeongdeok -gun Family Center (CEO Ahn -guk Ahn) operated the ‘My Dad Dad Class’, a woodworking experience program with father and children, and received great response from the participating families.
The program was promoted as part of a family -friendly project to overcome the low birthplace in Gyeongsangbuk -do, and was designed to induce the father’s participation in parenting and to promote the bonds and communication between the family. In particular, he re -examined the role of his father in the family and focused on promoting positive relationships with his children.
At the experience of this day, 10 fathers and children of 10 households participated in the building, where they had time to produce chairs using woodwork tools. The finished chair is designed so that each family can be used for family activities such as camping in the future, so that it can be combined with real life beyond simple experiences. Participants had a fun and meaningful time with a camping plan for a chair they made together.
‘Our Dad Dad Class’ is not a single -shot program, but consists of various experience activities from March to July. In addition to woodworking, there is a close -up program for real life that parents and children can do, such as badminton classrooms, strawberry harvesting, baking classes, and making house rice.
Lee Ahn -gu, head of the Yeongdeok -gun Family Center, said, “We expect to contribute to the naturally leading the father’s participation in parenting and spreading the gender equal family culture.”
The Yeongdeok -gun Family Center plans to make efforts to establish a healthy family culture in the community through customized family support programs that take into account various age and family forms.
