The first 18,000 fans in the confrontation of August 21 of the Yankees against the Red Boston socks will receive a head of George Costanza sleeping under the desk of former owner George Steinbrenner. It coincides with “Seinfeld Night” at the Yankee Stadium.
The figure represents Costanza, one of the main characters of the successful “Seinfeld” program, sleeping at work during the episode of season 8 “The Nap”. Above Costanza, sleeping is one of his episode quotes: “I love a good nap. That is the only thing that takes me out of bed in the morning.”

In The 1997 episodeCostanza, played by Jason Alexander, decides to sleep under his desk in his office. Then it recruits a maintenance personnel to expand the space under your desk for more head space, a shelter for a alarm clock, a blanket for a blanket and a holder.
“This is better than my bed at home,” he says once complete.
Costanza then proves it and take a nap. But Steinbrenner, with the voice of Larry David, soon enters his office in search of Costanza and when he can’t find him, wait inside. Finally, Costanza Jerry Seinfeld phones ask him to make a false emergency call to remove Steinbrenner from the building.
The Yankees also launched a Bobblehead of Costanza during a game against the red socks last season. In that, Costanza is in its batting posture while wearing a combination of dress shirt and pants.
The crowds were aligned four hours before the first release during the Costanza draw last season.
