Vevey will vibrate to the rhythm of women’s football during the month of July on the occasion of the UEFA Euro Female 2025. The city will welcome a fanzone, a festive and free meeting place for all and all round ball enthusiasts and sport in general.
For the very first time, Switzerland welcomes UEFA Women’s Euro from July 2 to 27, 2025, a major international competition dedicated to women’s football. On this occasion, Vevey will fully participate in the party by collaborating in the organization of a fanzone by the lake, on the site of the Quai Perdonnet 1 (Entre-deux-Villes).
Initiated by the sport sector of the city of Vevey and organized in partnership with the BTC-Bring the Crowd association, this event aims to promote female sport, promote intergenerational meetings and make the values of fair play and inclusion shine.
The Veveysanne fanzone will offer a festive and friendly atmosphere by the lake in a unique setting. All UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 will be broadcast on a giant screen. Each day, sports, cultural and fun activities will be offered, to entertain young and old. Catering stands will allow you to feast throughout the day, while the presence of local associations will enrich the experience with supervised activities and participatory initiations.
Through the implementation of this fanzone, and after eight editions linked to major male football tournaments, the municipality wishes to express its support for female sport and continue to encourage free, popular and unifying events on the municipal territory in order to meet the expectations of Veveysannes and Veveysans.
