Trier relies on “Experience, Leadership and Physise” by Zirbes
“Maik has had a big contribution to giving the Gladiators a new face for the past two years,” said Trier’s chief coach Jacques Schneider and added: “Next year to his experience of being able to fall back and physique will help our young team.”
Wing player Rapieque came to Trier from Central German BC two years ago. In the past season he was on the floor in all 44 competitive games. “I am firmly convinced that if he continues to grow with us, he will grow into a good role in the next season,” said Schneider.
After seven departures, King is the first access
Urald King is the first access of the Trierer after the club had reported seven departures in the days and weeks before. The 34-year-old was last voted the most valuable player in the finals in Denmark. “Defensively, he will bring us to a new level through his athletics, flexibility and his rebound. He can be used flexibly offensive, will make the field wide with his throw and goes to where it hurts,” said Schneider about King.
