Jakarta – A music festival called Svara Fest 2025 initiated by the National Creative Economic Movement (Gekrarfs), serves as a forum and inclusive space, involving creative economic participants from small and medium enterprises to musicians.
“We prioritize two creative sub-industry, the first one is the second bazaar of music, with the focus on hoping to be a Gekraf’s inclusive forum for community so that they can know what an ecosystem in the creative economy looks like and become an expression forum,” said Lutfi Dipa, director of Svara Festival and representative of Gekrafs, during a press conference in Jakarta at Svara Fest 2025, quoting ANTARA on Monday, June 23.
The Svara Fest will be held at the Gelora Karno Baseball Stadium from July 19-20 as one of a series of events for the Gekrafs Conference, which will take place from July 18-20. During this festival, you will showcase various creative economic sub-sectors such as cooking, fashion and handicrafts from small and medium-sized enterprises.
Lutfi said that Svara Fest can become a forum for revitalizing and exploring creative industries, which are currently the pillars of contributing national income from 17 sub-industries and introducing affluent culture to cross-generational societies.
“I talk about creating IP (intellectual property) festivals, and I don’t think it’s made not only in Jakarta, but also in hopes that God will make it in other cities, so the spirit of creative economic growth is not only in big cities, but throughout Indonesia,” he said.
Niko Al Hakim, one of Swarafist performers, said he saw the creative industry grow rapidly, encouraged him to participate in the Svara Fest Festival and hoped to promote the potential of Indonesia’s creative economy.
He also said that participants in the creative industry, especially in the music industry, no longer follow the content on the market, but creative works are forming their own markets at present.
“I’m interested because the vision is the same way to mobilize creators, because the more you come here, the more creative you are actually, and if you hear more often, it’s better than a little bit, so the more you come here, the more food, the more fashionable you are, but the more creative you are, the music is not managed by the market, which makes macem-macem and creativity create a new market,” he said.
Lutfi also said that hosting the Svara Fest at the baseball stadium will be different from the average music festival because few festivals use the venue.
In Svara Fest, Okin will return to the show with his previous band, Lyon, founded by Onadio Leonardo (vocals), Okin (bass) and Rudye Nugraha Putra (keyboard). This stage will be Lyon’s debut after a few years of vacuum. Not only with Lyon, Okin will also star in the role of Nicky KAY as the OKAAY duo.
In addition to Okin, a row of Indonesian musicians who will be active on the Svara Fest stage include Maliq & D’Essentials, Sal Priadi, Tiara Andini, Ndarboy, The Lantis, Ardhito x Wijaya 80, Coldiac and Idgitaf.
Svara Fest tickets can be purchased at tiketapasaja.com for INR 17,500 per day, and 2-day tickets are purchased at INR 275,000 per day.
