The Rhodanian badminton Gard (BGR30) can be proud of its representatives at the end of the season. The club shone both in young hopes and among veterans, with two promising results on the national scene.
From June 20 to 23, the young Romane porter, hope of the BGR30, participated in the DAN (Detection Avenir National), an internship bringing together in Bourges the best French players of the U10 and U11 categories. For four days, supervised by the national technical management, Romane was able to discover the high -level requirements in an intensive and demanding environment. This internship is an essential step in the career of young talents. At the end of this great experience, Romane could integrate the SAN (national future monitoring), a support system towards the elite of the French badminton.
Earlier in the month, from June 7 to 9, it was near Tournefeuille, near Toulouse, that another representative of the BGR30 distinguished himself. Sandrine Giroux has indeed reached the knockout stages of the French veterans championship in double ladies in the V3 category, in the company of her partner Caroline Muller. A solid and deserved performance which rewards the investment and experience of the two players on the courts.
These results once again demonstrate the vitality of the Rhodanian Gard club, which continues to make its young shoots grow while accompanying its more experienced competitors towards great sporting successes.
