PSG Miami: Dembélé & World Cup Prep in Atlanta

After benefiting from a day of rest on Wednesday, placed under the sign of recovery and relaxation, PSG players resumed the training path this Thursday morning on the lawns of the University of Kennesaw, located north of Atlanta.

It is on an annexed land of the Fifth Third Stadium, a stadium with a capacity of 10,000 places, that Parisians continue to prepare, until their 8th finals of the Club World Cup against Inter Miami of Lionel Messi, scheduled for Sunday in Atlanta (6 p.m., noon local time).

The Californian heat at the start of the stay has given way to a damp climate and weighing in Georgia. Despite the greenish decor of their new base camp fairly distant from the city center and their hotel, Luis Enrique players trained in hot weather, temperatures bordering on 30 degrees.

The climatic conditions are rough while the European champions are gradually starting to feel fatigue linked to the chain of matches, time difference and journeys. Fortunately for them, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium where the poster takes place against Miami has a roof. It will remain closed on Sunday and the stadium will be air-conditioned around 18-20 degrees.

Lucas Hernandez already back

In the meantime, Parisians prepare this poster with the same serious and the same relaxation as since the start of the competition. The session started with a double hedge of honor: a first for Lucas Hernandez, already returned with the group after joining his wife who gave birth to a little girl in Miami, a second for Achraf Hakimi, MVP of the match against Seattle last Monday.

With the exception of Presnel Kimpembe, Luis Enrique was able to count on a full workforce. Ousmane Dembélé, package for the three group games, was very present and continues to get closer to a return to competition. The top Parisian scorer should normally know his first minutes of play this Sunday. The Parisian workforce will have two morning training sessions to compete this Friday and this Saturday, before his next meeting.
