Pohang held the opening ceremony of ‘Guryongpo Haepa Rang Culture Shelter‘ on the 27th.
At the event, more than 100 people, including Lee Kang -deok, Pohang Mayor, Kim Il -man, Chairman of the Pohang City Council, local councilors, related organizations, and local residents, participated in the opening of the cultural shelter.
‘Guryongpo Haepa Lang Culture Shelter’ is one of the ‘Guryongpo area general agricultural fishing village development project’, which was promoted as a public offering project in 2020.
There are multipurpose gymnasiums and sea view libraries on the first floor of the building, and the library has more than 6,000 books including children’s reading space.
On the second floor, there is a reading room and a meeting room with reading lighting and beam projectors, which will be used as a multi -purpose space for small meetings and meetings.
Cultural Shelter is a multi -purpose community space that encompasses cultural and welfare functions. It is open at night from 9 am to 10 pm on weekdays.
Mayor Lee Kang -deok said, “We look forward to seeing Hapa and Culture Shelter as a meaningful communication and leisure space for residents of fishing villages, and contributing to improving local culture and welfare infrastructure.”
