MotoGP: Oliveira Disappointed with P12 Finish

The weekend of the Unert Countries Grand Prix has entered its crucial phase today with the Sprint Race in Assen, facing a crowd that celebrated the 100th edition of the History TT. For the Pramac Yamaha Motogp team, it was a challenging race, with Miguel Oliveira crossing the goal line in 12th place and Jack Miller ending in 14th.

“I made a very good start and managed to earn five or six positions.” Said Miguel Oliveira. “However, I didn’t feel competitive enough with the motorcycle, especially in the last Chicane. This was my best overtaking opportunity, but I just couldn’t get closer enough. Of course, this was quite frustrating because I believed it was faster than the front drivers, but I was forced to stay behind them during virtually the whole race.

The good side, however, is that I gathered a lot of valuable information for tomorrow’s race. Finally I feel fully recovered, although unfortunately the result does not reflect what I really feel. ”

Tomorrow, at 14h00, the grill aligns to 26 laps of the one that promises to be a special race. The Four Yamaha Pramac Yamaha Machines Yamaha MotoGP and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP will be track with an iconic painting inspired by the 1999 legendary YZR-R7, celebrating Yamaha Motor’s 70th anniversary.
