Lieshout – Next season Badminton Club Lieshout will set up a group for 4 to 6 year children for the first time. From Friday afternoon, August 22, the very youngsters can get to know badminton sport every Friday afternoon. Through a sophisticated youth program, where pleasure is central, the children can develop and at the same time learn in a natural way.
Badminton Club Lieshout is happy to be open to everyone as an association. From next season not only for the seniors or for the youth, who play both recreational and competitive, but also for the little ones from next season. Badminton Club Lieshout will start on August 22 with a series of lessons for a training group with children between the ages of 4 and 6 years. Those lessons are given every Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in sports hall De Klumper. The organization of these lessons is in the hands of the youth guidance led by Tim van Bommel and are given by Toos van Dam, who has also been a badmintonner for years at Badminton Club Lieshout.
The ‘Bamito Youth Programs’ is used for the interpretation of the training sessions. That is a training program, developed by Badminton Netherlands, specifically aimed at children in the youngest age category. A lot of attention is paid to the development of motor skills and being developing and having fun central. The materials and field dimensions to be used are also tailored to the child. This mini-group will start on 22 August and during a trial period until the Christmas holidays it will be examined how this group is developing. For that reason, the association has determined a fixed low rate for participation, which is one -off for the entire period. In the meantime, registration for this mini-group has been opened and can be registered via www.badmintonclublieshout.nl. You can register until July 18, then the classification is made.
