A Marc Martí le toca hoy decir adiós a un club en el que ha estado cinco temporadas y en el que ha pasado de ser un chaval a convertirse en un hombre. No renueva con un club en el que ha pasado momentos malos, sobre todo por las lesiones, buenos, con gestas deportivas como los años de play-off con Natxo Lezkano, y regulares, con temporadas duras en las que hubo que pelear casi hasta el final por la permanencia.
En todas, en las malas y en las buenas, Martí ha sido un tipo honesto, el pegamento del vestuario, siempre un aglutinador, un madero en el océano al que se podían agarrar los que se sumaban al proyecto. En la etapa en la que convivió con Oliver Arteaga fue su lugarteniente y cuando el histórico pívot canario lo dejó se convirtió en el nuevo capitán del OCB. dejará un hueco enorme en lo deportivo y un socavón entre sus más allegados, siendo alguien muy querido también por la afición.
La maldita lesión
Una afición a la que se le partió el corazón cuando, en la temporada 2021-22, en la que estaba llamado a ser protagonista, en una acción de contraataque en el partido que enfrentaba al entonces denominado Unicaja Banco Oviedo con el Prat, la dura defensa de Arnau Parrado le dejó fuera de combate el resto de la temporada. El OCB le renovó de inmediato, pero, con 24 años, el catalán tuvo que recuperarse de una lesión que deja secuelas en lo anímico y en lo físico.
Un sitio preminente en la historia del OCB
Se recuperó y el camino que recorrieron juntos club y jugador dio sus frutos.Ahora, cuando se separan los caminos, apostando el club por otro perfil para la posición de ala-pívot, es el momento de poner en su lugar a un jugador que queda entre los grandes de la historia del club.
