Thanks to the contribution of equity from our shareholders and Crystal Palace sales, our cash position has increased significantly, and we have more than enough resources for the 2025/26 season,” he continued.
“With proven funds and the success of sports that have given us a place in European competition two years in a row, we really do not understand how administrative decisions can degrade this big French club.”
“We will appeal to show our ability to provide the financial resources needed to ensure the existence of sustainable OL in Ligue 1,” he concluded.
The degradation punishment made Lyon play in the second caste of the French League for the first time since 1989. Alexandre Lacazette Cs’s position in Ligue 1 next season was replaced by Stade de Reims.
