The Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic (LIDOM) and the Advanced Baseball Learning Center signed a collaboration agreement for the joint development of training and updating programs of human resources, with the aim of strengthening the baseball industry in the country.

The agreement includes the implementation of seminars, courses, workshops, training and certifications in key baseball areas, such as: sports management and management, scouting and evaluation of players, baseball operations, technology, communications and data analysis, among other related disciplines.

As part of the agreement, Lidom will receive scholarships for the training and update of its staff, which will positively impact the professionalization of the sector and the operational efficiency of the League.

Likewise, it is established that, as of this agreement, LIDOM will grant its institutional guarantee to the collection and training processes carried out by the Advanced Baseball Learning Center.

The signing of the agreement was headed by the president of Lidom, Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, and the curricular director of Advanced Baseball Learning Center, José Gómez Frías
