Barbora Krejčíková gets to the center of attention before the defense of the sensational Wimbledon title. During the preparatory tournament in Eastbourne, she has already blackmailed two victories and in both cases she escaped her opponents from the swords. On Wednesday, in the south of England, it also flashed a sports gesture.
The seventeenth world ranking player has managed to eliminate two home hopes, Harriet Dart and Jodie Burrage, after nervous dramas.
The former was averted by Krejčíková two swords, the second even three during the tournament program. After the results 6: 3, 6: 7, 7: 5 and 6: 4, 4: 6, 7: 6, she has already advanced to the quarterfinals, where she will face French Varvar Gračev.
Despite the fact that two British cleared out of the way, Krejčíková entered the hearts of local tennis fans. And not just them.
