Jans on Haller: No Such Striker Exists?

At the beginning of 2025, FC Utrecht stunted Haller, who returned to Stadium Galgenwaard after more than seven years. According to the last rumors, he also plays possible for Utrecht in the new season, but in principle Jans says he does not need an extra striker. The trainer points to David Min, Noah Ohio and Jesse van de Haar.

That some supporters believe that the rush -hour position in Utrecht is too skinny, Jans fights. “I think that is really nonsense! I really don’t want four more, and I don’t feel like three equivalent. We have more than enough strikers,” Jans says in a wrong way. “People must realize that the striker we can get right away, which makes us better and is also affordable does not exist.”

Jans also expresses his confidence in Min and Ohio. “They can develop. Last year they had good moments, but it was not good enough. I think Douvikas is still the best example. The first half year was not the striker as the fans now see him. You need time.”
