From the basic groups, the first two teams will always advance to the semifinals in which they will compete with a cross. The third teams will play the match for the final fifth place, the fourth teams for seventh place.
The schedule of the knockout battles on Friday and Saturday will be classically created in both events primarily according to the procedure of the Czech and Slovak national teams. Only if they occurred to their mutual match, one of the teams would lose the advantage of the home environment.
