137 Outstanding personalities from the Upper Austrian sports were awarded the state sports honor of the state and sports council of Markus Achleitner.
Linz, Höhnhart. The awards in gold received 16 active athletes and 45 committed officials. Those in silver were awarded to 34 active athletes and 42 officials. “The State sports Center is a very special recognition for outstanding achievements and many years of, frequently enough decades, voluntary commitment,” emphasized State Councilor Achleitner.
“Many thanks and at the same time my congratulations go to all those who shape the Upper Austrian sports events and contribute to its positive progress,” Achleitner emphasized the voluntary commitment of the officials at the festive evening in the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz: “They ensure that they are passionate about 2,400 clubs and 6,000 sports facilities in our federal state.
