While Kat Kerkhofs braved the waves in the popular program about the ocean, husband Dries Mertens watched from home. Not without emotions, it turns out. The Red Devil, known for his flamboyant style on and next to the field, felt something that he rarely shows: a touch of jealousy.

The adventure reminded Kat of their time in Italy. “We lived in Naples for a long time and there we regularly rented a boat for one day. Dries thought that the Max, but I was always happy when we were ashore again. I quickly became nauseous,” she confesses.
