LOS ANGELES – Eighteen -year -old defender Radim Mrtka fulfilled one of his greatest dreams when Buffalo chose him in the NHL draft.
Moreover, he went as the ninth and became the highest drafted Czech hockey player this year. In an interview with overseas media, he also stated that he was looking forward to the opportunity to play with Swedish Bek Rasmus Dahlin.
Mrtka started out last season in Třinec and went to overseas. According to experts, working on Seattle Thunderbirds in the Junior WHL, he helped to choose a good position before choosing talents. Twenty -five -year -old Dahlin is one of the biggest stars of the competition and was also a captain last year. The offensive Swede was the third most productive player of the team and also the best recorder. He scored 68 points for 73 sessions when he scored 17 goals and passed 51.
