Badminton Llanos de Vícar: Medal-Laden Season Close

Last Saturday the Bádminton Sports School of Llanos de Vícar participated in the Masters Tournament of the Almeria de Bádminton delegation that was held in the town of Adra, and that ended the Provincial Circuit of Badminton 2025. Despite the numerous casualties, the vicar team had a very prominent participation, obtaining a total of 6 podium classified, three in individual and three double categories, and one third place.

Carla Rodríguez was proclaimed provincial runner -up in the category of Women’s Sub13. For his part, Adrián Cebrián won the provincial championship in sub17 double male and the runner -up in individual male sub17. Ethan Casilla and Jimena Navarro obtained the runner -up at all mixed doubles and Jimena Navarro was proclaimed champion in the individual female individual category. Álvaro Fernández, meanwhile, obtained a meritorious third place in the Sub17 double male category, although on this occasion the third place did not entail a trophy or podium.

Balancing the season, apart from the two provincial champions and the four runners -up, four more team players have obtained medals throughout the championship, with very prominent participations and having led some categories throughout the season.

Likewise, it should be noted that the victories of Adrián Cebrián, Carla Rodríguez, Ethan Casilla and Álvaro Fernández have occurred in their first season, so in many cases they were before more experienced players, which grants them greater value.

The club now expects its players to continue getting victories and maintain their excellent level of good game in upcoming tournaments and seasons.
