Recently, the 13th China Workers’ Basketball League (Chongqing Qualifiers) and the 11th Yuzhong District Basketball League concluded at Datianwan Stadium. More than 300 athletes from 21 teams have experienced more than 60 fierce competitions. In the end, the Yuzhong District Fire Brigade won the championship of this event with its outstanding performance. The exciting competitions on Friday and Saturday nights present a series of exciting visual feasts for the general public and also set off a national fitness craze in the local area.
“Pengaging in physical exercise after work can not only relieve stress, regulate body and mind, but also boost energy and improve quality of life.” A relevant person in charge of the Yuzhong District Sports Bureau said that the organizing committee will arrange the competition on weekends, hoping that the employees can combine work and rest and enjoy the fun of sports. As an important measure for Yuzhong District to carry out national fitness activities, this event deeply explores the region’s deep sports and cultural genes and is committed to creating an exclusive sports platform for employees and basketball enthusiasts.
As a highly influential brand event in the country, the Chinese Workers’ Basketball League has a broad mass base, and the winning teams in the competition area have a chance to compete in the national arena, which not only provides employees with a stage for exchanges and displays, but also effectively promotes the development of basketball. According to the person in charge of the event organizing committee, basketball has a wide audience, and promoting basketball events is the mission of Yuzhong District Basketball Association. This is the two consecutive years that the association has hosted qualifiers and district leagues. Professional events not only allow athletes to share their skills, but also allow citizens to appreciate high-level duels on the spot, realizing that “employees play every week and citizens watch every week.”
Kuang Hao, the leader of Yunfan Enamel Team, is keen on basketball and specially organized employees to participate in the competition.
