AC Milan Departures: 5 Players Exit, Attack Thinning

AC Milan seeks to recruit Ardon Jashari, who is currently playing at Club Bruges, but officially announced the departure of five players on its own channels. João Félix, Tammy Abraham, Kyle Walker, Luka Jović and Riccardo Sottil will not return to San Siro.

The contracts of the five players will not be renewed and they will have to return to their original club, or look for another club.

Felix, Walker, Sottil, Abraham et Jovic

Félix was loaned to AC Milan by Chelsea for the last half of the season. The Rossoneri paid 5.5 million euros for the loan, but he could never meet expectations. In 21 games, he scored three goals.

Walker also did not make a good impression enough. He arrived in January from Manchester City and played sixteen games for Milan.

For Sottil, the Italians paid a million euros to La Fiorentina to rent the attacker for six months. The winger only played eight games after the winter break for AC Milan, but was not involved for any purpose. Above all, he had to be satisfied with short appearances as a replacement.

At the dawn of a transformation

Abraham had already been transferred from AS Rome at the start of the season. He scored nine goals and issued six assists in 44 games. It is partly for this reason that Santiago Giménez, from Feyenoord, was recruited during the winter to score more goals.

The other striker, Jović, does not succeed either. This season, the Serbian has played twenty games and scored five goals. The five players represent a transfer value of around 48.5 million euros together. With the loss of Tijjani Reijnders and the possible departure of Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao, AC Milan is at the dawn of a transformation.
