Addressing reporters at the White house, Trump downplayed the significance of the image. I have nothing to do with the picture. Someone made my picture like a pope, and they distributed it on the Internet, he stated. I was probably artificial intelligence (AI), but I didn’t know anything. This suggests Trump viewed his action as simply sharing content already circulating online, rather than endorsing or creating it himself.

Trump further commented, “I actually thought my wife (Melania) was cute.” Melania Trump,known to be Catholic,accompanied the former President at Pope Francis’s funeral on April 26th. This remark adds a layer of personal context to the situation, possibly aiming to soften the impact of the controversial image.

This is akin to a sports team celebrating a victory with excessive fanfare promptly after a serious injury to an opposing player – a move widely considered to be in poor taste.
