Monumental Sports Launches “District Dribble” Initiative, Bringing Basketball to Every DC Public School Student

Washington, D.C. is set to become a slam-dunk city for youth basketball, thanks to Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s (MSE) newly announced “District Dribble” initiative. The program promises to deliver a brand-new NBA-regulation-size basketball and a t-shirt to every student in the District’s public primary schools – a total of approximately 29,000 young athletes.

The first delivery of 300 basketballs took place at Browne’s Educational Campus in Northeast DC, with daily deliveries planned to cover approximately five primary schools, ensuring every student receives their ball before spring break.
