The 40th edition of the La Romana Superior Basketball Tournament
tipped off this Friday at the Eleoncio Mercedes Sports Center in La Romana, Dominican Republic, with a special dedication to Samuel Pereyra, executive president of Banreservas.

Ricardo Sánchez,president of the Roman Basketball Association (asobaro),highlighted the tournament’s four-decade-long tradition in La Romana,serving as a crucial platform for developing talented basketball players. This tournament is akin to the AAU circuit in the united States, which has produced numerous NBA stars.
