Older generations (over 45) were more inclined to watch American football and cricket (14% each), while basketball (11%) was‍ less popular.⁤ Conversely,younger generations ‍(18-44) showed a preference for basketball (30%) and American football (22%). The younger⁢ demographic ⁣also reported a⁢ greater⁢ tendency to explore sports outside of video games.

The survey identified the most popular sports ⁤among British gamers.⁢ Kobe Bryant’s sport ⁤topped the list ⁢(21%), followed by American⁣ football ⁢(18%), cricket⁣ (15%),⁣ and rugby (12%).
