Arsenal’s Japanese defender, Takehiro Tomiyasu, has undergone a second knee operation, effectively ending his season. The 26-year-old, already sidelined since August, will now embark on a lengthy recovery, aiming for a return by the end of 2025.
A Recurring Injury Halts Progress
Tomiyasu’s initial knee surgery in August, sadly, proved insufficient. Despite a brief return to action in early October, playing ten minutes against Southampton, the injury persisted. This necessitated a second corrective procedure, as confirmed by Arsenal.
A Season Cut Short
