La Flèche Gasconne archery club,a testament to years of dedication and skill,recently hosted its annual competition,culminating in a resounding victory. Intraclub Competition Fuels Future Stars
on January 18th, the club hosted a friendly intraclub competition for beginner archers, both young and adult. This provided valuable experience in a competitive setting, fostering camaraderie and skill progress. The event concluded with a festive gathering, sharing the traditional Galette des Rois.
Departmental Championship Domination
The following day, January 19th, saw the club host a departmental competition, a notable event organized in partnership with the Gers departmental archery commitee. A total of 106 archers registered for the event, with 92 participating in the two sessions. Remarkably, 81 of these archers hailed from the Gers region.A strong showing by the club’s archers,including 3 first-time indoor competitors,resulted in several podium finishes.
