Occitanie ​Archery‌ Championship Crowns Champions in Auch

The Auch club ⁣hosted the regional archery championship over the weekend of ​February 15th and 16th, drawing more than 220 archers from ⁢across the Occitanie⁤ region. The competition unfolded in two stages: a morning qualifying round and afternoon duels by category, with Saturday’s events covering‍ certain ⁢categories and Sunday’s events ​for others.

A Fierce Battle for the‌ Podium

The atmosphere crackled with⁢ intense ​competition, as archers battled for ⁢coveted⁤ podium spots. Eight adult⁢ archers from the ​Cahors Arc company and three youth archers from the same club competed in Auch⁤ and ‍muret,respectively,the previous weekend.

Podium⁤ Success for a Few

Despite⁤ reaching the ⁤second ⁤phase and ⁣high-stakes duels, onyl a select few from ⁤the Cahors Arc company achieved podium success. ​⁤ Véronique Cappot,a senior 3 classic arc archer,earned a well-deserved silver medal,becoming the regional vice-champion. Lilith Baffaly also shone, securing a bronze medal ⁤in‍ the Young Arc à Poulies category.

While other archers from the Cahors Arc company put up a valiant fight, the competitive landscape proved unforgiving. ⁤ the results highlighted the intense nature of the ⁢competition.
