Guipavas Archers Dominate Brittany ⁤Championships

Guipavas ‌archers etched their names into Brittany archery history with a stunning display‍ of skill and precision ‍during the⁢ February 2025⁢ championships. Their ​performances, both ⁤individually and as ⁣a⁢ team, showcased the club’s rising dominance in the region.

Double Podium‍ Sweep in Pontivy

On February 15th‌ and 16th, ⁢in Pontivy, three ‌Guipavas archers claimed podium spots at the individual‌ Brittany championship. In the Poulies ⁢category,Benoît Mazé soared ​to gold,Bertrand Allio secured silver,and Daniel Bathany claimed bronze—a remarkable triple ​victory for the club.

Team Triumph ⁤in⁣ Plogastel-Saint-Germain

Prior to‍ the Pontivy success,the ​Guipavas team shone brightly in Plogastel-Saint-Germain on February 8th and 9th.Their Poulies team,comprising ‌Bertrand Allio,Benoît Mazé,Arnaud ⁢Langlois,Daniel Bathany,and Patrice‍ le Com,took a well-deserved second-place finish. The mixed double team of Ingrid and Bertrand Allio also impressed, earning a commendable third-place finish.

January’s⁢ success Sets the Stage

These February victories built upon a strong⁢ foundation laid in January. Two​ departmental competitions ‌in Plogastel-Saint-Germain‍ (25th and 26th) and Quimper (18th and 19th) saw Guipavas ⁢archers amass a collection of medals. The⁣ team competition yielded⁤ a ⁣silver medal for the mixed double team of Lucile and‌ arnaud Langlois, ​and ‍another silver for ​the Poulies ⁤team of Arnaud⁤ Langlois, Ronan⁤ Quéméner, Daniel Bathany, and Nicolas Lease.
