Pavlovic’s Potential Move too England: A Bayern Munich Exchange?
Rumors swirl around the football world, and Aleksandar Pavlovic, Bayern Munich’s midfielder, is at the center of a potential transfer to Manchester United. The Red Devils, facing financial constraints, are reportedly exploring a deal involving the 20-year-old.
A Complex Exchange Proposal
Manchester United’s recruitment team envisions Pavlovic as a key addition to their 3-4-3 system, bolstering the midfield. The proposed exchange involves marcus Rashford, the United winger currently on loan at Aston Villa. However, the uncertainty surrounding Aston villa’s purchase option (48 million euros) complicates the deal. Bayern Munich, according to reports, views this as a potential “cow trade,” recognizing that United may need to add additional funds to complete the transfer.
Calhanoglu’s Bayern Future
Hakan Calhanoglu, Inter Milan’s midfielder, was a target for Bayern Munich last summer. His public confirmation of interest in December, though, was met with a clear statement of intent to remain with inter. Bayern, according to reports, maintained contact with Calhanoglu, despite his desire to stay in Milan.
A Contested Midfield
Newcastle United and Saudi Arabian clubs are also vying for Calhanoglu’s signature. His commitment to Inter, however, casts doubt on a summer move. Calhanoglu’s contract runs until 2027, giving Inter no immediate pressure to sell. He was initially considered a potential replacement for Joshua Kimmich, but kimmich is on track to extend his contract with Bayern. A potential Pavlovic trade might open up more midfield opportunities for the Bavarians.
