Francesco and Umberto, products of the Badminton Novi nursery, dominated the competition.Francesco clinched victories in both singles and doubles in level C, partnering with Daniel Albiero. Meanwhile, Umberto mirrored his brother’s success in level D, teaming up with Davide Caligiuri Pedretti. This rare occurrence of siblings winning both singles and doubles in different levels is a highlight in the fifty-year history of Fiba.
Alessandro Stan’s Stellar Performance
Alessandro Stan, a coach and player, emerged victorious in the singles level A final against Tommaso Trezza in an all-biancoceleste showdown. His prowess extended to the mixed A category, where he and Camilla Negri triumphed over the Genoese white-Moiseieva pair. Negri’s success didn’t stop ther; she,alongside Anna Boveri,secured a gold medal in doubles,outplaying the Moiseieva-Ukraine Ustynova duo.

Anna Boveri’s weekend was nothing short of stunning. Partnering with Trezza, she overcame Valentina Advent and Giuseppe Nobile from Turin to reach the doubles final. Even though they fell to the Indian duo Vanitha and Anna Gaziano, their journey was a testament to resilience and skill.
