Youth Basketball Champions League 2025: Manisa to Host Europe’s Top Under-18 Teams

Europe’s premier basketball clubs are gearing up to showcase their under-18 talent ⁣in the‌ highly anticipated Youth Basketball Champions League (Youth BCL) for the 2024-2025 season. The event is scheduled to take​ place from April 22 to April 27, 2025, in the vibrant city of Manisa, located‌ in Türkiye.

this marks the third edition of the⁣ tournament, which ‌first debuted in 2023 under the auspices of the TOFAŞ Sports Club in Bursa. This year, the competition will ‍feature 12 elite teams hailing from 8 different ‍nations. representing‌ Turkey are TOFAŞ, Aliağa Petkimspor, Galatasaray, and Manisa Basket. The international lineup includes Igokea m:tel from Bosnia and ⁢Herzegovina, Rytas Vilnius from Lithuania, ‍ERA Nymburk​ from the Czech Republic, Filou Oostende from Belgium, Spartak Office Shoes from Serbia, Porsche BBA Ludwigsburg and telekom Baskets Bonn from Germany, and Pallacanestro Reggiana from Italy.

CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN SET FOR⁢ APRIL 27,2025

Under the updated​ tournament format,the 12 participating teams will be split ⁤into four groups,each containing three teams. following the group‌ stage, the top teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The victors of these semi-final matches will then compete in the grand finale to claim the championship title. Teams that secure second place in ‍their groups ⁣will vie for positions 5 through 8, while those finishing third will battle for ⁤places 9 to 12 in the overall standings.
