In the men’s doubles, Wouter Fondse and Leon Wegen delivered a thrilling performance, replicating their success from the home match. “The game was intense from the first serve to‌ the last, culminating in a narrow 19-21 finish in‍ the ⁢third set,” Van Haastert noted. Conversely, Jamie van Brienen and Dinja ‍van Haastert struggled ⁤to find their rhythm in the women’s doubles, falling ‌short with two ‍consecutive 21-12 losses.

The ‌men’s singles saw Ben van Luttikhuizen take the first set 21-12,but his opponent bounced back to claim the second set 21-17. “The final ⁢set ⁣was a nail-biter,” Van haastert recalled. “Both⁣ players ⁤gave it their all,but regrettably,it ended 23-21 in favor of our opponent. It could have gone either way.”
