Do you think that level of engagement is crucial for the future of sports media?
Coach Jones: Without a doubt. The key is authenticity. Fans can spot a disingenuous attempt at connection a mile away. But platforms like Saturday Kickoff, with their genuine passion for the game and their commitment to delivering value to their community, they’re building something special. They understand that it’s about more than just reporting scores and stats; it’s about creating an experience, building a community around a shared love of the game.
I couldn’t agree more. And that community aspect is huge, isn’t it? They’ve got Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, even Twitch and WhatsApp. It truly seems like they’re everywhere! do you think this saturation is a good thing, or is there a risk of data overload?
Coach Jones: It’s a double-edged sword, without a doubt. On one hand, it’s overwhelming. There’s so much content out there vying for attention. But on the other hand, it allows fans to consume information in a way that suits them. some might prefer a short-form video clip on tiktok,others a longer,in-depth discussion on YouTube.The key is choice. And platforms like Saturday Kickoff recognize that by diversifying their content.

Coach Jones: Passion and authenticity. Those are the cornerstones. You have to genuinely love the game, and that passion has to shine thru in your work. And be yourself. Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Find your unique voice,your niche,and build your community around that.The world needs more authentic voices in sports media.
