Responsible Battery Disposal
This notice applies to end users who utilize batteries or products containing built-in batteries and are not reselling them in their original form.
1. Free Battery Return
Batteries cannot be discarded with regular household waste. As responsible consumers, we are legally obligated to return used batteries for proper disposal. You can conveniently drop off used batteries at designated municipal collection points or your local retailer.
as a battery distributor, we are also required to accept used batteries, even though our take-back obligation is limited to the types of batteries we currently carry or have previously offered as new. You have the option to mail us used batteries of these types (with sufficient postage) or drop them off free of charge at our shipping warehouse, whose address is provided in the legal notice.
2. Understanding Battery Symbols
Batteries are marked with a crossed-out garbage can symbol, indicating that they should not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005% mercury, 0.002% cadmium, or 0.004% lead by mass, the chemical symbol of the pollutant is displayed below the garbage can symbol. “Cd” represents cadmium, “Pb” stands for lead, and “Hg” denotes mercury.
