At 78 years young, Gilles Ollivier, president of the Flèche Macairoise archery club and a certified trainer and educator with the French Archery Federation (FFTA), continues too be a driving force for the organization. Recently re-elected for another three-year term, Ollivier’s dedication to the club is unwavering.
He’s not alone in his commitment.Ollivier is supported by a dedicated team, including two experienced educators, Guillaume Brin and Jérôme Devanne, who joined the club two years ago. Devanne, a former member of the Maytais club, brings valuable expertise to the team. The club also boasts four federal referees: Bastien Coutand,Jérôme Devanne,Guillaume Brin,and Véronique Brin,ensuring fair and professional competitions.
the Flèche Macairoise is flourishing,boasting 71 archers,with a vibrant youth program of 35 young archers.This success is a testament to the club’s focus on quality training and expert guidance. Mark Your Calendars: Upcoming Competitions
the club is hosting two major competitions this year. The first, the “chairmartin” challenge for 51 young and beginner archers, will take place on saturday, January 18th. The following day, Sunday, January 19th, the club will host an indoor competition at the Thomas-Dupouet hall, attracting 100 archers and serving as a qualifier for the French Championship. A second outdoor competition is scheduled for june.
