The second annual departmental judo championship for benjamins, chicks, mini-chicks, and baby judo was held in Saint-Cyprien, drawing participants from across the region. Representing the Rivesaltais Judo Club were 7 of the youngest competitors, 8 chicks, 16 mini-chicks, and 11 baby judo athletes. In total, 42 judokas showcased their skills and determination, excelling in their respective categories.
Benjamins Category Highlights
Nathan Beck Andreu, Lucien Pannabieres, Eliot dupre, Hugo rodrigues, and Mathéo Fourcade secured fifth-place finishes in their divisions. Meanwhile, Esteban Segura Martos claimed the gold medal with an remarkable performance, achieving three victories by Ippon.
Chicks Division Standouts
Ophélie Beck Andreu dominated her category, earning the gold medal. Lou Nicoleau and Raphael Serié took home silver medals, while Léa Esperanca and Emmy Cannel were awarded bronze for their outstanding efforts.
mini-Chicks Achievements
Gold medals were awarded to Sohan casademont, Damien Navagas, Adam Bereil, Lucas Paredes, Elesia Spengler, Sandro Pastor, Alicia Bonnafous, and Illya Kimenko.
